Our Friendsgiving tradition was in effect for November, with attendees bringing Thanksgiving specialties or new dishes they wanted to test out. It was a joy to see lots of old friends and meet some new ones. Many people commented on how the food was so good at our Friendsgiving that they were sure their upcoming family Thanksgivings wouldn’t be able to compete 🙂

Karen and Alan hosted in their beautiful home. There were several dining areas including indoor tables, an outdoor fireplace in their front courtyard, and a poolside fire pit. There was more food than we could possibly stuff into ourselves, but Catie brought to-go containers to share. And there was plenty of wine, plus Robert (our resident whiskey expert) brought whiskeys and cocktail fixings for Manhattans.
